Use this template on a page to specify the game version for which the content of this page is up-to-date. For example, if when version 1.1.6.0 was released, you updated some page to reflect this version, use {{patchver|v1.1.6.0}}.
Usage
As the first parameter, provide the version number with the "v" prefix. For example, v1.1.6.0. For hotfixes, format it like v1.1.1.0 Hotfix 1.
Ensure that the title with the text of the first parameter redirects to the actual patch notes article.
Example:

Categories
Unless used outside the main namespace, and unless the nocat parameter is specified, the template puts the page it's used in into a category.
The category is named like vernum content, for example, Category:V1.0.0.6 content.
Monitoring Special:WantedCategories can help you find out which patch content subcategories need to be created.
When creating a category page, copy and paste the following code there:
This category lists pages that have been updated to version [[{{subst:lc:{{subst:#sub:{{subst:PAGENAME}}|0|-8}}}}]].
[[Category:Patch content]]
The code in the first line automatically inserts the actual appropriate link into the text of the category. The category will become a subcategory of Patch content.
If a patch content subcategory is no longer needed, you can mark it for deletion using {{delete}}.
