Alex is a boy who lives in Devil's Crossing. He and his sister Jane are adopted children of Constance, whose own children have died in the events following the Grim Dawn. Alex is initially instructed not to talk to the player character on the account of them being "evil".
Background[ | ]
Before the Grim Dawn, Alex with his sister Jane and their parents used to live in the village of Burrwitch. On that night, Alex's father left his family, apparently to participate in the battle against the Aetherial forces. Alex's mother locked her children in their room and told them to keep quiet.[1]
Alex and Jane were eventually found by John Bourbon, who made them cover their eyes and escorted them, along with other survivors, to the old prison of Devil's Crossing.[1] The two siblings were adopted by the former seamstress Constance.
Alex is substantially less talkative than his sister, in part because he's not allowed to talk to the protagonist.
