Treasure Trove

Treasure Troves are a type of chest that spawn in various locations, and require 1 Dynamite to open. They drop a relatively high quantity of Iron Bits, and can also drop Epic and Legendary items, making the Dynamite cost very worthwhile.

Treasure Troves also have a high chance of containing rare crafting materials - i.e. Tainted Brain Matter, Ancient Hearts, Blood of Ch'thon and Manticore Eyes - and can also drop Blueprints.

Trove locations are typically randomized, with several possible spawn points. Each area's Treasure Trove will appear at most once per session.

Act 1

• Hallowed Hill/East Marsh/Craig's Crags
• Dank Cellar/Infested Cellar/Musty Cellar/Festering Lair/Hallowed Hill
• Hargate's Laboratory (three possible locations, one on level 1, two on level 2)

Act 2

• Arkovian Undercity (8 possible locations, two on level 1, five on level 2 , and one on level 3.)
• Steps of Torment (6 possible locations, one each on level 1, and 2 , four on level 3.)

Act 3

• Mountain Deeps (four possible spawn points)
• Tyrant's Hold (three possible spawn points, one near the Ruined Shrine, the other two on the ramparts.)
• Ashen Waste (four possible spawn points)
• Village of Darkvale (four possible spawn points)
• Port Valbury (one spawn point in the Old Town, two in High Town}

Act 4

• Lost Tomb of the Damned (a single central spawn point)
• The Forsaken Wastes (four possible spawn points)
• Bastion of Chaos (five possible spawn points on the first level)

Act 5

• Barrowholm Mine (three possible spawn points)
• Gloomwald (three possible spawn points)
• Decrepit Cellar (two possible spawn points)

Act 6
