Isaac is a man who was in the process of being sacrificed by Bloodsworn cultists in the Cultist's Lair. When the protagonist clears out the lair, they find Isaac critically injured near a warded rune circle. While Isaac cannot be saved, he informs the player character about his stash of valuables hidden in the swamp, providing the side quest A Sacrifice. It is, however, possible that the Taken found the stash before ever meeting Isaac, in which case he expresses his regret at not hiding his possessions well enough.
